Inspired by the line from Leonard Cohen’s ‘Anthem’: “There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.”

As someone who navigates the world with Bipolar II, this line has been a comfort during hard times, and a powerful reminder that while at times I may feel broken, those same cracks are what let in a lot of magic. 

This community-sourced maple was turned green and intentionally left thick, leading to the heavy cracking during the drying process.
